RESOURCES / TOOLS

This page includes a few of my "go-to's" when working with clients. It's just a small sampling of what is out there in the field of psychology and self-help. Indeed, these days the options and choices are overwhelming. But these resources and tools reflect interventions and aids that I am convinced can make a difference in one's life when practiced on a regular basis. I have seen their effectiveness time and time again. Patience, practice, and self-compassion are the keys.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Self Compassion
Mindfulness

Moment-to-moment awareness, practiced in an accepting, non-judging, compassionate way. When practiced regularly it can bring greater balance to our lives.
